“Repentance Leading to Revival”

Special events often require special preparation. In Matthew 3, John the Baptist is telling the world a special event is at hand. The kingdom of God is about to arrive. It is time to prepare, but how? Repentance. Repentance is critical for faith. Before we will believe in something new and true, we have to turn from what is old and false. Before we will take hold of a gift, we need to let go of the things already in our hands. The message is clear for us today, if we want to be part of the kingdom of heaven, then we, too, must repent. What is repentance? Why is it so important for the Kingdom of God? That's what we want to look at today.
