“Jesus in His Own Words: I Am the Door”

Where do we find an abundant and meaningful life? In Jesus’ third “I am” statement, He says, “I am the door” (John 10:9). He goes on to say that, through that door, we will have “life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10). Contrary to Jesus, the world says there are many doors to abundant life and that each one leads to equal possibility of happiness. Sadly, this does not work out and many choose doors that leave them in quiet desperation. They have gambled with a door that led  only to spiritual poverty, not to abundance. Today we want to look at the abundant life that Jesus provides His people, and how we can dwell in God’s abundant life.
