English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

ESOL is a ministry of New Life in Christ Church to Fredericksburg's non-native English-speaking community. The ministry is staffed by volunteer members of the church and primarily uses the Intercambio curriculum. The curriculum offers several levels of study. We currently offer the Intro level and plan to add levels as interest and demand increases. Class time focuses on reading, writing, listening and speaking English.

We teach and learn English on Sunday afternoon from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at the church (11925 Burgess Lane, Fredericksburg, VA 22407) in room 118. After entering the front of the church, follow the ESOL signage to the classroom. We serve simple refreshments and snacks before, after and during class time.
